Web Calendar & Attendance Updates

Filter your programs by location on the Web Calendar

While planning your calendar, you can now see your program locations on the Web Calendar sidebar! This allows you to quickly determine the location/rooms available for your community programs. Now, you won't have to worry about accidentally double booking your rooms.

"Take attendance" option removed from Admin programs

To eliminate any confusion, we have removed the ability to take attendance for Administrative programs. Think of Admin programs as theme days, holidays or announcements. These are announcements you need to communicate to your residents, but you would not take attendance for.

‍

"All day" option removed from Group programs

To keep your program data accurate, we have removed the ability for a group program to be set as an all-day program. Keep in mind that group programs have a set start and end time and will not run all day. You will still be able to create all-day programs through the admin program section to highlight theme days, holidays etc. that do run all day.

‍

Easily filter your programs by Tags on the Web Calendar

To continue improving your workflow in the web calendar, we have moved Tag filters into their own dedicated section of the Web Calendar side bar. Think of Tags as your outings, special programs, signup required programs, tech programs, etc. These Tags have been moved from the "Others" category into their own "Tags" category. Now you and your team can easily find and filter tags to ensure you are meeting all your community standards and the needs of your residents.

Resident Updates

Easily print your Birthday Posters and Resident List

To assist with your workflow and give you the ability to print your resident list, we have made some adjustments to the icons in the top right of the Residents' page.

As you will see, we added a new "Birthday Cake" icon to make it easier for you to view and print your birthday posters. When you click on the new "Birthday Cake" icon you will be directed to your birthday posters - nothing else has changed with the posters, just where to find them!

Lastly, now when you click the Print button beside the "Birthday Cake" button, a CSV file of your resident list will be generated to download and print.

Set a return date for residents with "Isolation" status

When a resident returns from an excursion that requires isolation, or a new resident arrives at your community, you can now select an end date for their isolation period. You no longer have to manually set a resident's status back to "Here" - if an end date is included, the resident's status will automatically change to "Here" on that date. One less thing to think about!

General Updates

Integrate your Welbi calendar with Outlook

You and your recreation teams know when your programs occur, but wouldn't it be great to share these programs with your management team? Now you can! Welbi now has the ability to export events to share in an Outlook calendar. Please reach out to us at support@welbi.co so we can set this up with your community.

Small Updates

  • Some users reported a bug wherein certain resident's first names appeared as blank in their Residents list. This behaviour was triggered by clicking into the "Preferred Name (nickname)" field in a resident's profile, regardless of whether a Preferred Name was entered. This issue has now been resolved.
  • Programs marked with no attendance are no longer counted as "Missing Attendance" in the calendar sidebar.
